One Final Thought on The Beach and James & Seguin Postcards

Turns out after you’ve looked at a few 1000 views of the old beach and of the downtown intersection they all begin to blur together.  While acquiring cards, it becomes increasingly difficult to remember which ones you have and which ones you are searching for. Even documenting it all on your phone turns out to be a less than perfect solution. There is a dreamy groundhog day feel to it all that is not conducive to efficient collecting. Curiously, there really seems no end to the variety of Postcards that were created from these two locations – as result completing these collections seems like a distant point on the horizon where you aren’t sure how far that distance is.

After some reflection, i think the old epigram about journeys and destinations is fitting. I’m fine with that for now.
